This website provides general information about McDowell Digital Services, its services, and estimated pricing. Website content does not by itself create a service agreement or guarantee availability, pricing, or suitability for a particular project. Content may be updated as services and business information change.
For some well-defined projects, a clearly identified deposit may be paid through Stripe to begin intake and reserve the project. The checkout amount is a project deposit, not the estimated project range or final project price. The deposit is credited in full toward the final project price confirmed after scope review. Paying a deposit does not authorize undefined work or allow the final price to change without the client’s approval. No payment is required to contact McDowell Digital Services or request a quote.
Before project work begins, the client and McDowell Digital Services may confirm the scope, deliverables, responsibilities, schedule, final price, payment terms, revision process, launch requirements, and ongoing support in a written quote, proposal, statement of work, or other project agreement. If a project-specific agreement differs from these general terms, the project-specific agreement controls.
Any remaining project balance is collected according to the payment schedule in the project agreement. When a refund is due, it may be returned through Stripe to the original payment method. Refund eligibility depends on the project agreement, the work completed, nonrecoverable expenses, and applicable law.
Clients are responsible for providing accurate project information, timely feedback and approvals, required access, and any content or materials needed for the project. Clients are also responsible for having the right to use any materials they provide. Delays in access, content, approvals, or third-party decisions may affect the project schedule.
If a client requests work outside the approved project scope, McDowell Digital Services may provide a revised quote, schedule, or separate change approval before the additional work begins. Discussing a request does not by itself authorize additional billable work.
Websites may depend on hosting providers, domain registrars, content systems, plugins, APIs, payment providers such as Stripe, and other third-party services. Those providers control their own availability, pricing, policies, and performance. Important third-party dependencies will be identified during project planning whenever reasonably possible.
Ownership and licensing of project deliverables, pre-existing materials, client content, third-party components, and reusable tools will be addressed in the project agreement when applicable. Clients are responsible for ensuring that materials they provide can be legally used for the project.
McDowell Digital Services will not knowingly provide services for projects involving unlawful activity, infringement, malicious code, fraud, unauthorized access, or other uses that violate applicable law or the policies of required platforms or service providers.
McDowell Digital Services applies professional performance standards to every project. However, some outcomes depend on factors outside McDowell Digital Services’ control, including search engines, third-party platforms, customer behavior, market conditions, and the availability of external services. Search rankings, website traffic, sales, and uninterrupted third-party services therefore cannot be guaranteed unless a specific commitment is stated in writing.
